BlackRock XRP ETF Filing Imminent? Here’s Why Researcher Thinks So

  • Ripple Swell event sparks anticipation of BlackRock XRP ETF launch.
  • Anderson hints BlackRock close to filing groundbreaking XRP ETF application.
  • Stein’s Ripple conference participation fuels excitement for BlackRock XRP ETF.

The XRP community was energized today following digital asset researcher Anderson’s latest insights regarding a potential BlackRock XRP ETF filing. Anderson’s comments came in response to news of Maxwell Stein, BlackRock’s Director of Digital Assets, slated to speak at Ripple’s upcoming Swell conference.

Ripple’s announcement, highlighting influential figures from institutions such as Nasdaq, Franklin Templeton, BNY Mellon, and notably BlackRock, has amplified market speculation.

Particularly, Stein’s plotted actions created an optimistic feeling in Anderson, who tweeted on X, stating that the BlackRock XRP ETF was getting near.

Strategic Moves in Crypto ETFs

Further supporting Anderson’s viewpoint, Nate Geraci, president of NovaDius Wealth Management, highlighted BlackRock’s prominent position in the existing Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF markets.

Geraci went on to mention that BlackRock would rationally increase its ETFs to include heavyweight cryptocurrencies such as XRP to stay ahead of the pack and keep and retain investors.

Geraci emphasized that BlackRock’s possible XRP turn would not be based on ideological views but on business strategies. Also, Geraci warned that by accepting only Bitcoin and Ethereum, there was a danger of creating a limited market, which is why moving into XRP is a strategic advantage.

A number of asset managers like Franklin Templeton, CoinShares, and 21Shares have already filed a spot XRP ETF with the SEC. As much as a statement has not been made official by BlackRock as far as XRP ETF intentions are concerned, analysts and industry observers are optimistic.

The resolution of the litigation between the SEC and Ripple has also created a form of regulatory certainty, which augers well for the prospect of a filing by BlackRock.

XRP ETF Speculation Intensifies

The growing momentum around spot XRP ETFs, combined with BlackRock’s engagement in Ripple’s flagship event, strongly reinforces the speculation of an impending XRP ETF filing.

Stein’s appearance at Ripple Swell significantly contributes to expectations of BlackRock’s pivotal entry into the XRP ETF landscape.
