XRP Rich List Update: Here Are the Number of Wallets Controlling the Most and Least XRP

  • XRP distribution shows large wallets control most of the cryptocurrency.
  • Thousands of smaller wallets hold significant portions of XRP supply.
  • XRP’s wealth is concentrated, but widespread interest among smaller holders.

According to XRP Avengers, the distribution of XRP wallets has revealed some surprising insights into how the cryptocurrency is held across different account sizes. The update highlights the number of wallets that control significant amounts of XRP, as well as those with smaller holdings, showing a clear divide between large and small account balances.

At the top end of the scale, a very small number of accounts hold the majority of XRP. Just five wallets, each holding 1 billion XRP or more, dominate the space with a combined total of over 7.4 billion XRP.

These accounts represent a tiny fraction of the total wallets but control a significant portion of the XRP supply. Following closely, 22 wallets with balances ranging between 500 million to 1 billion XRP collectively control more than 12 billion XRP, further underscoring the concentration of wealth among a few large holders.

However, the distribution of XRP becomes more widespread as we move down the list. Thousands of accounts hold between 1 million and 5 million XRP. In total, 1,446 accounts in this range hold nearly 2.7 billion XRP, showing that while smaller, these accounts still possess a considerable amount of the cryptocurrency.

The data also reveals that over 1.3 million wallets control less than 20 XRP each, contributing just under 17 million XRP to the total supply.

The Distribution Across Mid and Lower Tiers

The mid-tier ranges of XRP holders paint an interesting picture of the broader network. Over 28,000 wallets hold between 100,000 and 500,000 XRP, collectively controlling more than 5.1 billion XRP.

Meanwhile, another 142,000 accounts hold between 10,000 and 25,000 XRP, contributing over 2.15 billion XRP to the pool. These figures highlight that while the largest holders dominate, there are still thousands of smaller accounts with significant amounts of XRP.

On the lower end, the vast majority of accounts hold smaller amounts of XRP. The most numerous category, with over 1.3 million accounts, holds between 0 and 20 XRP each. Despite their small individual holdings, these accounts together account for just under 17 million XRP, emphasizing the decentralized nature of the XRP community.

This distribution indicates that XRP continues to be controlled by a relatively small number of large accounts, but the cryptocurrency is also widespread among smaller holders. The data reflects both the concentration of wealth in a few wallets and the broader interest in XRP across all levels of account balances.
