Bitcoin Slips 3.8% as XRP and Ethereum Extend Market Pullback

  • Bitcoin drops 3.8% amid broad market selloff

Heavy selling pressure swept through the cryptocurrency market, dragging Bitcoin BTC to $63,223.27 and pulling other major digital assets lower alongside it.  The decline unfolded alongside heavy trading activity, with volume reaching $49,940,218,307 during the same period.


The pullback placed pressure on the broader market as other large-cap assets followed a similar trajectory. Ethereum ETH fell 2.8% to trade at $1,826.35. Trading volume stood at $21,461,398,263, reflecting sustained market participation despite declining prices. Market capitalization remained above $220,011,044,271, keeping ETH firmly in the second position by valuation.


XRP declined 3.1% to $1.33, with $3,110,747,165 recorded in 24-hour trading volume. Its market capitalization hovered around $80,957,589,990. Similarly, BNB slipped 1.4% to $589.03, while posting $1,264,054,985 in daily volume and maintaining a market cap near $80,297,731,738.

Solana SOL moved lower by 2.7% to $76.97. The asset generated $4,536,922,718 in trading activity, with total valuation standing at $43,773,506,593. TRON TRX also registered losses, falling 2.1% to $0.2815, accompanied by $573,988,322 in daily turnover.


Dogecoin DOGE recorded a 3.8% decline, matching Bitcoin’s percentage drop. DOGE traded at $0.09117 and posted $950,561,239 in 24-hour volume. Its market capitalization stood at $15,395,553,345 during the reporting period.


Mid-Cap Tokens Record Sharp Gains Despite Large-Cap Declines

While major cryptocurrencies retreated, several lower-ranked assets posted notable advances. Espresso ESP surged 93.0% to $0.1649, supported by $206,993,999 in daily trading volume. Seeker SKR gained 53.4% to reach $0.02762, with $56,879,869 in turnover.


Steem STEEM climbed 32.6% to $0.06179 after generating $36,794,572 in trading activity. DeXe DEXE rose 19.3% to $3.18, backed by $20,613,585 in daily volume. Power Protocol POWER increased 18.3% to $0.5349, while TRIA TRIA advanced 16.4% to $0.01788.


Palladium Network PLLD posted a 16.3% gain, trading at $0.3922, though daily volume remained comparatively lower at $107,672. Meanwhile, WhiteBIT Coin WBT declined 3.4% to $47.43, with $79,373,998 recorded in 24-hour trading.


Across the market, price declines among leading assets contrasted with strong percentage gains in selected mid-cap tokens, reflecting mixed performance within the broader digital asset sector. Bitcoin BTC, Ethereum ETH, XRP, and other major cryptocurrencies recorded daily losses, while several mid-cap tokens delivered double-digit gains during the same trading window.
