Shiba Inu Unveils ‘Karma’ Score to Expose Trustworthy and Toxic Users

Shiba Inu developers have confirmed the launch of a new trust-scoring system known as “Karma.” This system will monitor user activity across all applications within the Shiba Inu ecosystem to determine whether users are trustworthy or harmful.

According to Shadowhunter, one of the project’s developers, Karma will act as a critical tool in the platform’s decentralized governance. The feature is designed to assign trust scores based on user engagement and track positive and negative behavior in real-time.

Karma is integral to all decentralized apps (dApps) that the Shiba Inu team develops. The platform awards users with higher scores for beneficial contributions, yet imposes penalties or platform removal for users who participate in suspicious or harmful activities.

The team operates Karma through its beta version, which requires modifications based on user feedback. Karma is a key component for the upcoming phase of the ecosystem.

Karma Score to Serve as User Filter Across the Ecosystem

Besides detecting toxic users, Karma will also reward consistent and responsible activity. This system operates like a gaming experience system to monitor performance and create digital records of user actions.

Karma developer Kaal Dhairya confirmed that this system will integrate with Reputation and Aura, which will launch soon. The three systems, Karma scores, Reputation, and Aura, will operate separately to track trustworthiness, user roles, and credibility.

The Shiba Inu project hopes to create a safer and more transparent environment by combining these three systems. The scoring system will assess users through every transaction and role they perform.

Significantly, the Karma system is being built to cover the entire user journey. The Shiba Inu system covers every transaction and contribution, as well as all network-based activities.

Conclusion

Shiba Inu’s Karma system will expose bad actors while giving trustworthy users a way to stand out. As the ecosystem expands, Karma is set to become a powerful filter for shaping a secure and fair community.
