Pundit Says GENIUS Act Triggers XRP Supercharge – Here’s How

  • GENIUS Act positions RLUSD as compliant, stablecoin-ready settlement vehicle.
  • XRP Ledger may transform into regulated infrastructure for institutional finance.
  • Ripple’s pre-aligned strategy fuels bullish expectations across crypto market segments.

XRP is gaining renewed traction following the advancement of the GENIUS Act in the U.S. House of Representatives, with one market analyst declaring it a defining moment for Ripple’s future.

According to crypto commentator Pumpius, the legislation has created the ideal environment for Ripple’s stablecoin, RLUSD, to thrive, potentially setting the stage for a sharp increase in XRP adoption and usage.

The GENIUS Act introduces a comprehensive regulatory framework for stablecoins, which many in the financial world see as routine legislative progress. Nevertheless, Pumpius believes that the bill is much more than XRP Ledger administrative specifics and refers to it as a godsend and the starting point of a new wave of utility-based growth.

An already created stablecoin with necessary regulatory standards in mind, Ripple RLUSD is structurally and legally ready to comply with the GENIUS Act. Pumpius noted that Ripple has also applied to become a bank, hired BNY Mellon as a custodian, and is following full compliance processes.

All these are well established, and therefore, RLUSD is ready to comply with the act way before the law is actually set or enforced.

Such preparation may see RLUSD become a desirable settlement asset in the new legal environment. The XRP Ledger, on which the RLUSD is issued, becomes a central nexus of a series of payments, remittances, and flows of tokenized physical world assets (RWA).

Ripple’s Regulatory Alignment Signals Institutional Surge for XRP

The market has already responded. XRP rose by 6 percent following news of the bill’s procedural progress. Pumpius said it was just a preview, with the rally being a trailer of the bigger event that will happen later after the geneiUS Act is passed into law.

This means that the actual aftermath will be viewable through increased RLUSD adoption, increased institutional activity, and increased loads of XRP transactions.

Pumpius went on to say that RLUSD adoption is bound to roll out via Ripple Bank and BNY Mellon, which will allow regulated institutions to directly enter the XRP Ledger.

With this acceleration, the ledger may transform into a regulated utility chain, best placed to accommodate both conventional finance and new digital markets.

According to Pumpius, the GENIUS Act would make a policy nuke, and right now, no digital asset ecosystem but XRP is ready to retaliate with an all-encompassing infrastructure.

Ripple’s strategic positioning relative to the Act’s provisions makes it one of the possible leaders in a regulation-driven bull run.

Conclusion

As the GENIUS Act moves closer to becoming law, market observers are closely watching Ripple and the XRP Ledger. With RLUSD already built to comply with the proposed framework, analysts believe this could mark a turning point in institutional adoption and utility-driven growth for XRP.
