SHIB Dev Rejects Power Grab, Proposes Full Control to Community DAO

  • SHIB dev refuses control, pushes power to community governance model.
  • Shiba Inu launches tool for real-time blockchain activity tracking.
  • DAO proposed as future manager of key Shiba Inu assets.

A fresh debate has ignited across the Shiba Inu ecosystem after calls were made for SHIB developer Kaal Dhairya to take control of significant project assets. The suggestion came from X user “woofswap,” who proposed handing over the Ryoshi Medium and the official Shibtoken X account to Dhairya.

According to the discussion, this idea drew swift criticism from another user, who argued that transferring these assets would grant full control of the ecosystem to the development team. They explained that this would be against the project’s decentralised nature.

Kaal Dhairya was a direct reply to the discussion, with the idea of adopting the centralized powers being rejected. He clarified that he did not intend to control and suggested that governance ought to be given to the SHIB DAO and the Shib Foundation.

His quote focused on a process of decentralization by giving the community the status to control the core resources and decision-making. As Dhairya pointed out, the current infrastructure created in the framework of the Shiba Inu project would provide such an open and fair model of governance.

The DAO, or the Doggy DAO, as it is also called, is a system in which holders can vote on proposals and changes and give power to the community. Such a model of governance is transparent since every decision and vote is placed on the blockchain.

New Tools Strengthen Transparency as SHIB Pushes for Community Control

In a related development, the Shiba Inu team has launched the Shib Alpha Layer Block Explorer. The tool provides a real-time overview of transactions and block data in the Shibarium Layer-3 infrastructure, which aims to increase its scalability and privacy.

This explorer enhances the capacity of the community to keep track of the network and aids Dhairya in her quest to bring in a transparent system. The rollout has been attributed to the user empowerment orientation of the team, with additional instruments to monitor the technical development of the project.

Dhairya’s stance marks a pivotal moment in SHIB’s development. By increasing the power, the developer has instead opened the door to another era of community-based management, with the help of technology and confidence.

Rejecting centralized control in favor of DAO-based management, the SHIB developer highlights a growing shift toward true decentralization. With tools like the Alpha Layer Explorer now live, the Shiba Inu ecosystem moves closer to being entirely governed by its community.
