What to Know
- An unidentified wallet received 125.33 billion SHIB from BitGo while retaining its entire balance without any outgoing transactions so far.
- The BitGo custody wallet received 600 billion and 408 billion SHIB from two separate whale addresses during September 2026 alone.
- Investigators cannot identify the recipient or determine which whale supplied tokens because both deposits entered same custody address before withdrawal.
An unidentified Ethereum wallet has received 125.33 billion Shiba Inu tokens from an address linked to cryptocurrency custodian BitGo. According to Shiba Inu community member Mazrael, Arkham Intelligence classifies the receiving wallet as an unlabeled address.
On-chain records show the address received 125,334,083,223 SHIB, valued at approximately $678,000 during his assessment. Moreover, the wallet had no previous transaction history, suggesting someone created it specifically to receive this substantial withdrawal.
Available blockchain information does not reveal the owner, transfer purpose, or recipient’s current relationship with BitGo. However, the destination has retained its entire SHIB balance, providing no evidence that its owner plans an immediate sale.

BitGo Wallet Received Two Major Whale Deposits
Mazrael traced the transfer to a WalletSimple multisignature contract identified by blockchain platforms as a BitGo custody wallet. That address received 600 billion SHIB on September 1, followed by another 408 billion SHIB on September 6.
Consequently, both deposits placed 1.008 trillion SHIB inside the BitGo-controlled wallet before the 125.33 billion withdrawal. On-chain analysis connected the larger deposit with an early Shiba Inu whale using an intermediary forwarding address.

Meanwhile, the second transfer reportedly originated from another whale whose wallet had remained inactive for approximately three years. Both deposits entered the same multisignature address, making their individual token movements difficult to separate through public records.
Hence, investigators cannot determine which whale supplied the specific SHIB later transferred into the unidentified wallet. Additional searches found no Ethereum Name Service domain, ShibName, or public alias associated with the destination.
Furthermore, the destination has recorded no outgoing transactions since receiving the full 125.33 billion SHIB balance. Its behavior could reflect custody segregation, long-term storage, or an over-the-counter settlement between unidentified market participants.
Nevertheless, blockchain records cannot confirm accumulation, planned selling, or involvement from any particular investor or institution. For now, public records only establish that a BitGo-linked wallet funded the withdrawal into an unnamed destination. The transaction highlights whale activity around SHIB, although the recipient’s identity and transfer purpose remain unknown.
