XRP Ledger Payments Jump 386% as Volume Returns Toward Monthly Average

In Brief:

  • XRP Ledger daily payment volume rose 386% to 583.3 million XRP, approaching its monthly average of approximately 638 million XRP.
  • Historical ledger data shows multiple daily payment totals above one billion XRP, placing the rebound below previous major activity peaks.
  • XRP traded near $1.51 within its consolidation range, with technical support around $1.45 and major resistance between $1.60 and $1.65.

XRP Ledger processed approximately 583.3 million XRP in daily payments, bringing network usage closer to its monthly average. Payment volume increased 386% over 24 hours, while XRP traded near $1.51 within its recent consolidation range.

According to XRP Ledger data, the payment total remained below the 30-day average of approximately 638 million XRP. Despite the substantial percentage increase, daily volume still trailed that benchmark by around 54.7 million XRP.

An unusually weak preceding session accounted for much of the scale of the rebound in the latest reading. Daily payments recovered considerable ground, bringing the total closer to the ledger’s recent average without exceeding it.

At approximately 583.3 million XRP, the latest total also remained below several larger readings recorded over the past year. Historical data shows repeated sessions above one billion XRP, alongside multiple increases that exceeded two billion XRP.

The reported historical peak stands near seven billion XRP, considerably above the payment volume recorded during this recovery. Those figures place the latest increase within a wider pattern of substantial fluctuations in daily ledger usage. A move above the monthly average would mark another recovery milestone, while billion-XRP sessions would approach previous higher-volume periods.

XRP Holds Its Trading Range as Payment Volume Approaches a Key Benchmark

Alongside the payment recovery, XRP maintained a relatively narrow trading range between approximately $1.48 and $1.53 during recent sessions. Its price remained near $1.51, below the resistance levels that have limited attempts to extend September’s advance.

September’s breakout lifted XRP from around $1.30 toward $1.60, establishing the price levels surrounding its subsequent consolidation. Several attempts to restart that rally failed, leaving the asset trading within its narrower band around the current price.

Meanwhile, XRP traded above its rising short-term moving average, which stood near $1.45 in the cited technical assessment. Longer-term moving averages clustered around $1.35 to $1.40, placing those indicators below the asset’s reported market price.

The relative strength index remained in neutral-to-bullish territory, without the overheated reading that can accompany a more extended rally. Price action therefore retained support from its moving averages, even as attempts to reach higher levels lost momentum.

On the upside, approximately $1.55 represented the next level before the broader resistance region between $1.60 and $1.65. A decline below $1.45 would weaken the current technical structure and put XRP beneath its short-term moving average.

Payment volume’s 386% rebound brought ledger usage nearer its monthly benchmark, while XRP’s price held within its established range. Further readings above 638 million XRP would strengthen evidence of sustained activity beyond the recovery from one weak session.
