Bitwise Draws $10.55 Million Into XRP ETF as Rival Funds Record Withdrawals

Bitwise Draws $10.55 Million Into XRP ETF as Rival Funds Record Withdrawals

In Brief:

  • Bitwise recorded its largest October XRP ETF inflow, attracting $10.55 million as competing funds registered withdrawals during the trading session.
  • Franklin Templeton and Canary Capital recorded combined withdrawals of $7.41 million, leaving XRP ETFs with $3.14 million in net inflows.
  • XRP retreated from above $1.50 toward $1.43, reversing its weekend gains despite increased capital allocations into Bitwise’s XRP investment product.

Bitwise recorded its largest XRP ETF inflow of October, attracting $10.55 million during a session marked by withdrawals from rival funds. According to SoSoValue data, the October 6 trading session ended with approximately $3.14 million in combined XRP ETF net inflows.

Investors added capital to Bitwise’s product while Franklin Templeton and Canary Capital recorded redemptions across their respective XRP funds. Franklin Templeton posted $4.07 million in withdrawals, while Canary Capital registered approximately $3.34 million in outflows during the session.

Together, those two funds recorded about $7.41 million in withdrawals, offsetting much of the capital entering Bitwise’s investment product. Bitwise remained the only XRP ETF recording inflows, making it the session’s leading contributor to the positive overall balance.

The allocation followed several October sessions when Bitwise recorded limited or no inflows, according to the reported fund data. Its $10.55 million intake exceeded earlier October readings and marked a change from the quieter sessions preceding the latest allocation.

Bitwise’s individual inflow also exceeded the combined market result, as competing funds recorded withdrawals rather than matching its capital intake. The session ended with money entering XRP ETFs overall, despite the redemptions reported by Franklin Templeton and Canary Capital.

Bitwise Leads XRP ETF Demand While Token Price Retreats Below $1.50

XRP lost ground in the spot market during the same period, reversing gains that had carried it above $1.50. The token had strengthened over the weekend but failed to maintain that upward movement during the opening trading days.

Earlier in the week, XRP traded above $1.50 before dropping toward approximately $1.43, according to the supplied market report. Bitwise’s stronger inflow therefore arrived alongside a lower reported XRP price, rather than an extension of the weekend’s upward movement.

Meanwhile, the ETF figures showed different allocation patterns across issuers, with Bitwise attracting capital as two major competitors recorded withdrawals. Franklin Templeton’s withdrawal exceeded Canary Capital’s by approximately $730,000, making it the larger redemption among the two named funds.

Their combined outflows remained below Bitwise’s intake, allowing the tracked XRP ETF market to finish the session with net additions. The resulting $3.14 million balance represented the capital remaining after the reported withdrawals offset part of Bitwise’s $10.55 million inflow.

Bitwise closed the session with its strongest October inflow, while XRP traded below the levels recorded earlier in the week. Rival fund withdrawals reduced the overall ETF total, leaving the market’s positive balance smaller than Bitwise’s individual capital intake.
