Bitcoin and leading altcoins traded lower as selling pressure spread across the market, while several smaller tokens recorded sizeable gains. According to Coingecko data, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 1.5% to $77,246.81, with trading volume reaching $29.79 billion and market capitalization standing above $1.55 trillion.
Ethereum (ETH) slipped 0.4% to $2,465.78, although its $15.93 billion volume showed substantial participation during the broader retreat. Meanwhile, BNB (BNB) declined 0.8% to $715.06, leaving its market value near $95.22 billion.
XRP (XRP) posted a deeper 2.9% loss, changing hands at $1.35 as daily trading volume reached $2.19 billion. Additionally, Solana (SOL) dropped 2.1% to $99.67, while Dogecoin (DOGE) weakened 1.9% to $0.08394.
TRON (TRX) recorded the mildest decline among the selected assets, easing 0.4% to $0.3389 on $347.41 million volume. However, Zcash (ZEC) suffered the steepest loss, falling 12% to $1,098.25 despite generating $1.53 billion in trades. Hyperliquid (HYPE) also declined 5.2% to $79.64, extending weakness among prominent non-stablecoin assets during the session. Altcoin losses therefore reinforced cautious positioning across much of the higher-value cryptocurrency market.

Smaller cryptocurrencies moved against the broader market direction, led by KNOTS (KNOTS), which climbed 73.2% to $0.04117. Its trading volume reached $17.94 million, indicating notable activity despite the token holding a much lower market ranking.
Niu Lai advanced 51% to $0.1244 and produced the highest trading volume among the listed gainers at $154.97 million. Artificial Inu (AI) followed with a 40.7% increase to $0.2705, supported by $40.98 million in daily transactions.
Moreover, BREW (BREW) gained 40% to trade at $0.01953, while its volume reached approximately $16.56 million. TENDIES (TENDIES) rose 37.6% to $0.02038, with traders exchanging about $2.53 million worth of the token.
Theta Fuel (TFUEL) increased 32.7% to $0.01262 as its trading volume approached $7.33 million. Pearl (PRL) added 31.7% to reach $0.5394, although its volume remained lower at roughly $1.52 million.
Consequently, the figures showed a divided market, with large-cap assets retreating while speculative demand lifted several lower-ranked tokens. The contrast also highlighted how isolated rallies can develop even when weakness dominates widely followed cryptocurrencies.
