CEO of Binance exchange Changpeng ‘CZ’ Zhao has made his first post on Binance Feed, a cryptocurrency social network integrated into the Binance exchange app and website.
Interestingly, he took to his X (formerly Twitter) account to spread the word about the new development. At the time when the post was published on X, CZ claimed that he had 0 followers and followings.
However, he encouraged the public to follow his profile as he will be reciprocating the gesture by following early adopters “aggressively.” Obviously, the crypto community stormed his account as the number of followers on his profile has grown exponentially to almost 9000 at press time.
Just made my first post on @Binance Feed. 👇 You can too.

It's a new platform. As always, we welcome your feedback to improve it.
As I have 0 followers and followings now, I will follow the early adopters aggressively. Go there and follow me. 🙏https://t.co/ayIDdtS5ot

So far, CZ has made only two posts on Binance Feed. His first post reads “Welcome to the global town square for crypto discussions.” Not surprisingly, he referred to Binance Feed as “the global town square” mimicking Elon Musk who also referred to Twitter by the same name during the course of acquiring the micro-blogging platform.

His second post boasted of the workings of the platform. He pointed out that Binance Feed had no Bots and no API.
Binance Feed is designed as a crypto social network where users can freely express their ideas and give updates about the world of cryptocurrencies. It looks like CZ plans to develop Binance Feed into an alternative to X but strictly on the crypto niche.
The introduction of Binance Feed may likely increase the popularity of the exchange itself and also make it a go-to crypto social network where investors and enthusiasts meet to discuss a common topic.
It will be interesting to see what other updates CZ plans to introduce in the recently launched Binance Feed, whether he will branch out to allow for other topics like Twitter, or, he will stick to what the platform is known for, cryptocurrency.
Ultimately, the introduction of Binance Feed to the exchange platform is a welcome development for the crypto community and we patiently wait to see how it evolves moving forward.
