Fasset has raised $68 million in Series C funding, securing a $1 billion valuation and joining the global fintech unicorn category. According to the announcement, SBI Group led the financing, strengthening its relationship with the AI-powered stablecoin neobanking platform.

Fasset previously secured $51 million during its Series B round in May, bringing Speedinvest onto its investor list. Consequently, the company has raised $119 million across both financing rounds during 2026.

Fasset will use the new capital to expand Own Network, its regulated international financial infrastructure. Own Network links banks, telecommunications companies, payment providers, liquidity partners, custodians, and settlement networks across different markets.

Additionally, Fasset plans to invest further in artificial intelligence systems supporting corridor banking and stablecoin settlements. The company will also develop infrastructure for tokenized assets and automated payments across international financial markets.

Its technology selects suitable transaction routes by reviewing costs, processing speed, liquidity availability, and settlement options. SBI Group considers stablecoin settlement infrastructure an important part of its Asia-Pacific digital economic strategy.

Moreover, the Japanese financial group sees Fasset as a potential bridge between Japan and several high-growth regions. These regions include markets across Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, where demand for accessible financial services remains significant.

SBI Group operates across banking, securities, private equity, asset management, and several digital finance sectors. Its digital asset portfolio includes investments in Ripple, Circle, Morpho, and institutional liquidity provider B2C2.

Own Network Supports More Than 100 Global Banking Corridors

Own Network supports Fasset’s consumer, business, and institutional products across more than 100 international banking corridors. Customers can receive, hold, transfer, spend, and invest funds across multiple currencies, markets, and asset classes.

Stablecoins support selected settlements within the network, helping participants move value efficiently between different financial markets. However, customers use familiar financial accounts without managing the underlying stablecoin infrastructure or settlement process.

Fasset currently processes more than $40 billion in annualized transaction volume through its global network. Furthermore, the platform serves more than three million wallets across 125 countries and supports over 1,000 enterprises.

Its regulatory presence covers the Gulf Cooperation Council, Asia, Europe, and several other international markets. Fasset co-founder Mohammad Raafi Hossain described the company’s strategy as any-to-any banking across users, assets, and payment rails.

He believes financial opportunities still depend heavily on a person’s location and available banking infrastructure. Hence, Fasset aims to combine regulated local systems, global assets, artificial intelligence, and stablecoins within one financial account.

SBI Partnership Strengthens Fasset’s International Expansion

Fasset’s partnership with SBI Remit provides access to services supporting bank account transfers across approximately 200 countries. The relationship also gives Fasset access to SBI Group’s wider financial ecosystem and its network of international partners.

Speedinvest general partner Stefan Klestil highlighted Fasset’s role in expanding regulated financial access across developing and high-growth markets. Fasset will use these partnerships to strengthen remittance, settlement, and banking services across its targeted regions.

Moreover, the investment provides additional resources for expanding regulated infrastructure and building relationships with established financial institutions. The financing also supports Fasset’s plan to integrate modern settlement technology with regulated local systems and global asset access. Its unicorn valuation reflects investor demand for platforms combining stablecoins, artificial intelligence, and international banking services.
