Even though Ripple recently witnessed some exits from its defense team, its case appears to not have been affected. In fact, one of its recent exits came a few days before Judge Torres ruled in favor of Ripple where she declared XRP as not a security.

The real reason for their exit has not yet been communicated at press time, but it is obvious the blockchain company has been scouting around for qualified replacements.

The Ripple vs SEC case continues

Notwithstanding the recent ruling in favor of Ripple, the company is still not off the site of the regulatory watchdog. In fact, the Commission has already hinted at a possible appeal of the ruling.

Ripple Labs continues to stay focused on its defense even though there is a possibility of the case coming to an end soon. It has continued to assemble the best legal to fight its case and ensure it comes out victorious. Zolkind’s contribution to the defense will be invaluable given his extensive and impressive career.
