SFx Money App Relaunches Naira Accounts and Adds USDT Support on TRON (TRC20)

SFx Money App Relaunches Naira Accounts and Adds USDT Support on TRON (TRC20)

Nicosia, Cyprus, 02 October — SFx Money App has officially relaunched its Naira Account feature and integrated the TRON (TRC20) network for USDT, giving users more convenient ways to manage local currency and digital assets from within the SFx ecosystem.

The latest updates strengthen SFx’s mission to make cross-border financial services more accessible, connected, and practical for Africans and people living around the world.

Personal Naira Accounts Return to SFx

With the relaunch of the Naira Account, eligible SFx users can now have a personal Naira account number, allowing them to receive Naira payments directly into their SFx account.

The feature is designed to provide a familiar banking experience within the SFx Money App. Users can use their dedicated account details to receive funds and manage their Naira balance alongside the other financial services available on the platform.

The Naira Account was initially introduced in June 2026 before being temporarily rolled back as SFx carried out internal upgrades. Following those improvements, the feature has now officially returned to the platform.

The relaunch provides Nigerian users with another way to fund their SFx accounts while bringing traditional local banking functionality closer to SFx’s digital financial ecosystem.

USDT on TRON (Trc20) Is Now Live

Alongside the Naira Account relaunch, SFx has officially integrated USDT on the TRON network (Trc20). The integration gives users another option for depositing and managing USDT on SFx, expanding the platform’s existing blockchain network support.

SFx currently supports USDT and USDC across Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum, Base, Avalanche, and Optimism, with TRON now joining the network lineup for USDT. For users who regularly receive or transfer USDT through TRC20, the integration provides a more direct way to bring those assets into their SFx ecosystem.

The update also reflects the growing intersection between traditional financial systems and digital assets, allowing users to manage different forms of money through one platform.

Building Around How People Actually Move Money

According to Muqaddis Kolawole, Head of Design & Marketing at SFx Money App, the latest updates are driven by the practical needs of users navigating multiple financial systems.

“We’re building SFx for the reality of how Africans actually move money today, across borders, currencies, and increasingly between traditional finance and digital assets. The introduction of dedicated Naira accounts and USDT on Trc20 is a reflection of that mission.

“Our users have been asking us to make these experiences easier, and we’ve been listening. Whether you’re a Nigerian receiving local payments, a student managing money across countries, or a crypto user who needs access to USDT on Trc20, you should not have to juggle multiple platforms just to manage your own money.

“For us, this isn’t simply another product update. It’s another piece of the infrastructure we’re building to make money more accessible, connected, and borderless for Africans and people living across the world. And honestly, we’re only getting started.”

More Financial Access Through One Platform

The Naira Account and Tron integration are part of SFx Money App’s broader efforts to bring local financial rails, stablecoins, and cross-border payments into a more connected experience.

For Nigerian users, the dedicated Naira Account provides a familiar way to receive local payments and fund their SFx accounts. For stablecoin users, Trc20 support adds another route for accessing USDT within the platform.

Together, the updates give users more flexibility while reducing the need to move between multiple financial platforms to manage their money. With these features now live, SFx Money App continues to expand its financial infrastructure around the needs of a global and increasingly digital user base.
