Shibarium RPC Update Restores Reliable Wallet Connections Through Chainlist

Shibarium has received an infrastructure update that restores accurate network connection details for wallets and Web3 applications. According to the Shiba Inu X account, the ethereum-lists/chains registry now displays Shibarium’s correct public RPC endpoint through Chainlist.

Community member Mazrael initiated the correction by opening GitHub Pull Request 8699 with the proper network endpoint. Maintainers have merged the request, resolving an outdated entry that remained unchanged during Shibarium’s earlier RPC migration.

Developers closed the network’s former public RPC endpoints in late 2025 while introducing more stable and decentralized infrastructure. However, the ethereum-lists/chains registry still contained an inactive endpoint that no longer resolved connection requests.

Consequently, users relying on Chainlist could encounter difficulties when adding Shibarium to cryptocurrency wallets or Web3 platforms. The correction gives users updated network settings without changing Shibarium’s transaction processing or other underlying features. Accurate RPC information remains important because these endpoints connect users and applications with blockchain nodes across supported services.

Explorer Reindexing Accompanies Wider Infrastructure Improvements

Shibariumscan is also reindexing the layer-two network, with 52% of its blocks indexed during the reported update. Reindexing rebuilds the explorer’s database by reading transaction and block information directly from the Shibarium blockchain.

Although displayed records may remain temporarily incomplete, the process does not remove transactions from the underlying network. Moreover, Mazrael reported separate upgrades involving Shiba Inu’s website, documentation portal, and decentralized exchange interface.

The official shib.io website and ShibaSwap moved to Cloudflare on September 12, 2026, while gaining IPv6 support. Shiba Inu’s documentation platform at doc.shib.io also migrated from its former hosting environment during the infrastructure changes.

Cloudflare provides content delivery, traffic management, and security services across websites serving users in different locations. Therefore, the migration may improve routing, availability, and compatibility for people accessing Shiba Inu’s primary online resources.

Mazrael described the broader environment rebuild as more advanced than its limited public visibility might suggest. The RPC correction remains the most immediate improvement for users connecting wallets and applications directly to Shibarium. Meanwhile, explorer reindexing and Cloudflare integration strengthen the supporting services used throughout the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
