Stellar Captures 37% of Daily RWA Growth as Tokenized Assets Reach $3.47 Billion

In Brief:

  • Stellar captured 37% of daily RWA growth, adding $36.4 million as ten leading blockchain networks gained $96.5 million in capitalization.
  • Distributed RWA assets on Stellar reached $3.47 billion, while monthly transfer volume climbed 45% to $581.5 million across the network.
  • Institutional funds anchored Stellar’s tokenization ecosystem, with average capital per project exceeding $48 million across its 72 tracked RWA initiatives.

Stellar led daily real-world asset tokenization growth, adding $36.4 million and capturing 37% of the increase across ten leading networks. According to RWA Foundation, RWA market capitalization across those networks increased by $96.5 million over 24 hours.

This placed Stellar ahead of BNB Chain, which recorded a $23.2 million increase during the same tracking period. Together, the two networks accounted for approximately 62% of the combined daily expansion, concentrating most growth within their ecosystems.

XLayer followed with a $9.8 million increase, while Solana added $7.7 million, leaving both below Stellar’s reported daily gain. Stellar’s increase exceeded BNB Chain’s by $13.2 million and surpassed the combined gains recorded by XLayer and Solana.

Beyond its daily lead, Stellar registered monthly increases in both distributed tokenized asset value and transfers across its network. According to RWA.xyz, distributed RWA assets reached $3.47 billion at the beginning of October, representing a 5.86% monthly increase.

Monthly RWA transfer volume also climbed 45% to $581.5 million, alongside the increase in distributed asset value during that period. Across the broader tokenization sector, total RWA market value approached $46 billion by September’s end, accompanying expansion across multiple networks.

Regulated Funds Anchor Stellar’s Multibillion-Dollar RWA Ecosystem

Stellar’s tokenization ecosystem comprises 72 projects, with average funds per initiative exceeding $48 million. By comparison, Solana’s average stood near $1.4 million per initiative, highlighting the difference in capital concentration between the two networks.

Large regulated funds accounted for substantial balances within Stellar’s ecosystem, including products from Spiko, Ondo Finance, and Franklin Templeton. Spiko Amundi Overnight Swap Fund represented €1.225 billion, placing it among the largest named funds operating within Stellar’s tokenization ecosystem.

Meanwhile, Ondo U.S. Dollar Yield accounted for $536.89 million, while Franklin Templeton’s BENJI product held another $513.78 million in assets. Together, Ondo’s product and BENJI represented more than $1 billion, adding to the institutional capital recorded across Stellar’s tokenized funds.

These fund balances accompanied an ecosystem with fewer initiatives than its capital totals might suggest, based on the reported averages. Alongside its RWA market, Stellar recorded a $409.9 million stablecoin capitalization, with stablecoin transfers totaling $10.1 billion over 30 days.

Separately, the network’s decentralized finance ecosystem reached $273 million in total value locked, adding another measure of capital within Stellar. Ledger activity also reached a reported peak of 217.4 transactions per second, accompanying activity across the network’s financial applications.

Stellar’s daily lead coincided with monthly asset growth and higher transfer volumes, while regulated funds maintained substantial balances within its ecosystem.
