  • ADI’s Svyatoslav Senyuta emphasized blockchain infrastructure that works with established financial institutions and supports their operational, policy, and interoperability requirements.

Visa and ADI Foundation will assess how blockchain infrastructure can work with established payment networks through a collaboration covering three areas. According to an official statement shared with 36crypto, Visa and ADI Foundation will explore payment solutions, infrastructure, and digital finance ecosystem development.

Visa brings its global payments network and money movement expertise, while ADI contributes experience developing distributed ledger infrastructure. Both organizations will examine opportunities to improve efficiency and interoperability across payment ecosystems through their respective capabilities.

Visa and ADI Outline Payment Cooperation as Interoperability Takes Priority

Under digital payment solutions, the organizations will explore mechanisms that could facilitate faster and more efficient payment flows. They will also assess opportunities to develop or integrate technical infrastructure supporting transactions involving digital assets.

Their cooperation will extend to initiatives supporting innovation across the digital finance and payments ecosystem. Across these areas, Visa and ADI will explore how blockchain infrastructure and electronic payment networks may complement one another.

ADI’s participation follows its strategy of helping public and private institutions engage with blockchain through infrastructure aligned with institutional requirements. The foundation develops infrastructure around operational needs, policy considerations, and interoperability with existing financial systems.

Vira Platonova, Visa’s senior vice president and global head of money movement, highlighted changes in how financial institutions transfer value. “The way money moves is evolving rapidly,” Platonova stated.

She emphasized the growing importance of trusted networks and interoperability as financial institutions explore new forms of value exchange. Through cooperation with ADI, Visa aims to explore opportunities for businesses, consumers and the broader payments ecosystem. Platonova described combining both organizations’ expertise as a means of contributing to innovation in digital payments and emerging technologies.

ADI Seeks Blockchain Infrastructure Compatible With Established Financial Systems

Svyatoslav Senyuta, ADI Foundation’s chief business officer, emphasized infrastructure capable of working with institutions handling money movement globally. He highlighted the need for “infrastructure that works with the institutions that already move money at global scale.”

Senyuta linked this requirement to the foundation’s development, adding that “ADI was built with that requirement in mind.” He described the Visa collaboration as an opportunity to examine how blockchain infrastructure and electronic payment networks may complement each other.

The organizations will assess practical opportunities across payment solutions, technical infrastructure and the broader digital finance ecosystem, Senyuta explained. His comments reflect ADI’s strategy of developing blockchain infrastructure that works with existing financial systems and their operators.

ADI designs its infrastructure to help institutions engage with blockchain within established financial infrastructure, alongside their operational and policy requirements. Visa and ADI Foundation will explore cooperation across the three announced areas to support payment innovation, efficiency and interoperability.
