XRP Rich List Update: Here’s How Much XRP is Required to be Among the Top 10 Holders

  • XRP holders now need over $8,400 to enter Top 10.
  • XRP Rich List entry rises sharply as price hits $3.44.
  • Retail investors struggle to meet growing XRP accumulation requirements today.

XRP’s price rally has brought a significant shift in the dynamics of its holder distribution, with updated data revealing the new threshold required to enter the asset’s elite group of investors. As of now, XRP is trading at $3.44, a level that has notably raised the bar for those aiming to rank among the top 10 holders.

According to the up-to-date data of the XRP Rich List, a single investor would require a minimum of 2,446 XRP to enter the Top 10 levels. At $3.44 per token, this will set a person back around $8,418. This is a sharp rise in comparison to when XRP used to trade at lower prices and the rich list was more affordable.

XRP has performed well monthly, increasing by more than 54 percent and beating most of the leading digital assets, including Bitcoin.

The price boom has assisted XRP in redefining itself as one that exists above the $3 range, building the market’s trust and confidence and increasing the number of holders in the high-level valuations band.

Although this has been favourable to existing investors, it has also ensured that new entrants to the market find it difficult to enter. A recent survey observed that the majority of the American population does not have more than $2,000 in savings.

At the present price of 2,446 XRP, which is more than $8,400, most people cannot afford to buy it without a plan to save some money in the long term.

Entry Into XRP’s Top 10 Now Demands Considerable Capital

The financial strain is clear when analyzing average incomes and expenses. In the United States, the average worker earns roughly $5,500 per month but spends close to $4,641. Under these conditions, reaching the 2,446 XRP mark would require nearly ten months of disciplined saving.

In the United Kingdom, the gap is even wider, as an average income of £2,800 and monthly expenses near £2,600 mean it would take more than two years for the average resident to accumulate the £6,300 needed for the same XRP amount.

One year ago, when XRP was priced at around $0.49, acquiring 2,446 XRP required just $1,200—an amount many average earners could save within a few months. The sharp rise in XRP’s price now places that same volume beyond the reach of most new investors.

These changes have reshaped investor strategy, as fewer people can now afford to hold enough XRP to join the Rich List’s upper tier. This signals a maturing asset that is becoming increasingly difficult to accumulate at scale.

XRP’s sustained growth has redefined the thresholds for top-tier holders. At $3.44 per token, entering the Top 10 now requires over $8,400, a significant barrier for most retail investors. As prices hold firm, the gap between established holders and new entrants continues to widen.
