Ripple Goes Viral on FOX News as Crypto Bill Sparks Political Firestorm

Ripple, the San Francisco-based blockchain payments company, grabbed nationwide attention after its logo appeared live on FOX News. The segment, “Dems Trying to Derail Groundbreaking Crypto Bill,” aired as discussions surrounding digital assets heated up in Washington.

According to Emelie, a known XRP advocate on Twitter, the moment Ripple appeared on screen, the XRP community quickly noticed it. Social media users reacted strongly to the screenshot, some believing that Ripple and its asset, XRP, were gaining more recognition.

The exposure comes at a time when the United States Senate is debating new legislation focused on stablecoin regulation. The GENIUS Act, which aims to establish national innovation for U.S. stablecoins, was approved by a vote of 66 to 32. Two senators did not vote or record a choice, bringing the bill one step closer to a final vote.

Many argue that this bill offers a legal structure for stablecoins, digital currencies attached to fiat currencies like the U.S. dollar. They expect the framework to boost financial technology innovation and provide more safety for users and investors.

Nevertheless, Democratic legislators are worried about how the bill might turn out in practice. In a statement, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren raised concerns that increasing stablecoin use could give opportunities for corruption.

She pointed out that the legislation could support President Donald Trump and his family, who are said to be involved in cryptocurrency businesses.

The White House has claimed it has seen no evidence of improper activity. Officials underline that their main purpose is to implement effective crypto rules that benefit the U.S. economy.

Ripple’s Appearance Fuels Momentum in Crypto Circles

The feature on FOX News has intensified buzz within the XRP community. Many see it as a sign that Ripple is gaining traction at a national level.

Some online voices described the moment as a “buy signal” for XRP, while others called it a step toward global adoption. All this attention may increase public curiosity and discussions about Ripple’s role in international payments. Meanwhile, Ripple’s impact on the crypto conversation is getting larger as the GENIUS Act progresses.

Ripple receiving airtime on a national news channel has helped put digital assets in the spotlight. At this stage, as more votes on the GENIUS Act are set, how regulation affects Ripple—and similar crypto companies—is being carefully observed.
