Ripple has minted an additional 13 million RLUSD tokens, bringing its stablecoin closer to the $500 million circulation milestone. The minting event was confirmed through a blockchain transaction recorded on Etherscan, with the tokens sent to a wallet previously associated with liquidity operations.
According to Ripple Stablecoin Tracker on X, this latest issuance increases RLUSD’s circulating market cap to approximately $428.7 million. Market observers indicate that at the current pace of minting, the $500 million mark will likely be attained over the next couple of weeks.
The receiving wallet is also associated with historical high-volume transfers. Thus, it can be assumed that the newly issued tokens will be used to be deployed on centralized exchanges or decentralized finance (DeFi) networks. This is in line with Ripple’s larger mission to increase the utility and availability of RLUSD.
On-chain data reveals that RLUSD holdings are distributed across a wide range of wallet addresses. The percentages of individual wallets do not have a disproportionate hold, which is considered a good sign of stability and organic adoption in the market.

Ongoing Mint Activity Highlights Ripple’s Stablecoin Strategy
This development follows a separate mint of 10 million RLUSD that occurred just two days earlier. The back-to-back transactions suggest a deliberate strategy to build liquidity and meet growing market demand. Ripple has positioned RLUSD as a direct competitor to established stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.
Ripple has cited that RLUSD was created to be used in making payments, trading, and liquidity offerings. The fact that its subsequent supply is increasing implies that the number of participants is interested in both decentralized and centralized platforms.
It is considered an essential benchmark of the $500 million point out of institutional interest. This milestone can help RLUSD reach new markets in terms of blockchain networks and territories, once again proving its place in the digital asset economy.
With consistent minting activity and broad wallet distribution, RLUSD is approaching a key growth milestone. Ripple appears focused on scaling its stablecoin infrastructure to support deeper integration across global financial systems.
