The program focuses on projects across DeFi, artificial intelligence, real-world assets, decentralized science, payments, and wallet solutions. Selected teams will receive up to $500,000 in funding alongside direct collaboration with YZi and BNB Chain core teams. They will also gain mentorship from a global network of industry experts committed to driving blockchain innovation.

Founded as Binance Labs before its rebranding in January, YZi Labs is currently led by Ella Zhang. Binance co-founder Changpeng “CZ” Zhao continues to play an active role in the organization’s strategic direction.
The firm has recently increased its backing for Ethena Labs, known for issuing stable assets USDe and USDtb, reinforcing its commitment to supporting emerging blockchain technologies.
Moreover, the announcement comes at a time when BNB has climbed to the No. 3 position among cryptocurrencies by market value. Data from The Block’s price page shows BNB trading above $1,320, marking a nearly 30% increase over the past week amid a broader market surge.
A Strong Signal for Web3 Growth
The launch of the Builder Fund signals a strong commitment to advancing the Web3 ecosystem. By combining financial support with direct access to technical expertise, YZi Labs is positioning itself as a critical catalyst for innovation within the BNB Chain.
