Ripple has announced the acquisition of Palisade, a digital asset wallet and custody company, in a major move to strengthen its institutional crypto custody offerings. The deal expands Ripple’s ability to serve fintechs, corporates, and crypto-native firms seeking fast, secure, and compliant solutions for managing digital assets.
Ripple Custody, which already provides secure vault services for banks and financial institutions, will integrate Palisade’s wallet-as-a-service technology. This integration allows Ripple to deliver a complete digital asset solution covering secure storage, payments, and treasury management. It marks another step in Ripple’s mission to connect traditional finance with decentralized systems.

Palisade Technology to Boost Ripple Custody Capabilities
Palisade’s lightweight technology brings essential features such as Multi-Party Computation for key security, zero-trust architecture for user verification, and fast wallet provisioning for scalability. The system also supports multiple blockchains and decentralized finance integration, allowing institutions to manage assets and interact with DeFi platforms efficiently.
According to Ripple, Palisade’s technology will also enhance Ripple Payments by supporting quick transaction signing, automated fund sweeping, and large-scale wallet deployment. These capabilities make it ideal for businesses that require high-speed transaction processing and secure value movement across different platforms.
Monica Long, President of Ripple, said secure digital asset custody remains a cornerstone of Ripple’s growth strategy. She emphasized that corporates are entering the crypto market and need trusted partners with ready-to-use, regulated solutions.
The combination of Ripple’s bank-grade vault and Palisade’s agile wallet system now positions the company as a full-service provider for institutions.
Ripple Expands Global Trust and Compliance Footprint
Ripple Custody is already trusted by top global financial institutions, including Absa Bank, BBVA, DBS, and Société Générale – FORGE. It offers cryptographic approval processes, a tamper-proof audit trail, and comprehensive oversight of assets held across different venues.
Additionally, Ripple continues to enhance compliance by integrating with major providers such as Chainalysis and Elliptic. With over 75 regulatory licenses worldwide, Ripple is reinforcing its leadership in institutional crypto infrastructure and expanding its role in the growing digital asset ecosystem.
