XRP ETFs Extend Outflow-Free Streak Despite Pause in Daily Inflows

XRP ETFs Extend Outflow-Free Streak Despite Pause in Daily Inflows

Summary:

  • CoinGlass data showed XRP ETFs recorded zero net inflows while extending a four-day streak without investor outflows.
  • Bitwise retained leadership among U.S. spot XRP ETFs as Franklin and Canary maintained significant assets under management levels.
  • XRP-focused funds outperformed Bitcoin, Solana, and Ethereum ETF peers with stronger weekly net inflow performance despite softer trading volumes.

U.S. spot XRP exchange-traded funds completed another trading session without investor withdrawals, underscoring steady institutional demand despite a pause in new capital. According to Coinglass data, the latest session recorded flat net flows while preserving a four-day streak without outflows.

According to Coinglass, U.S. spot XRP ETFs recorded zero net inflows on Aug. 4, although the flat session followed several days of positive inflows that reinforced the market’s broader momentum. Funds attracted $1.15 million on Aug. 3, $7.69 million on July 31, $5.98 million on July 30, and $584,710 on July 29.

Those sessions collectively generated approximately $15.4 million before inflows paused. Consequently, the latest figures extended the streak of trading days without outflows to four, indicating investors largely maintained their exposure instead of reducing positions.

Despite the absence of new capital during the session, cumulative net inflows across all U.S. spot XRP ETFs remained at approximately $1.51 billion. Total net assets also held near $1 billion, representing about 1.49% of XRP’s overall market capitalization.

Trading activity moderated during the latest session, with Coinglass data showing total value traded across XRP ETFs reached $7.49 million, compared with $9.99 million on Aug. 3 and roughly $10.3 million on July 29. However, the lower trading volume did not trigger redemptions, suggesting investors retained their holdings despite lighter activity.

Leading XRP ETFs retain dominant market positions

Bitwise remained the largest U.S. spot XRP ETF by assets under management, reinforcing its leadership within the sector. Franklin’s XRPZ ranked second with approximately $258 million in assets, while Canary’s XRPC followed closely with around $250.2 million.

Additionally, 21Shares’ TOXR managed approximately $116.7 million in assets. Grayscale’s GXRP also oversaw about $59.4 million. Together, these funds represented the majority of assets held across U.S. spot XRP ETFs and highlighted the expanding institutional presence in the market.

Moreover, the latest figures aligned with a broader pattern that emerged throughout July. Most trading sessions either attracted fresh inflows or ended without investor withdrawals, demonstrating relatively stable demand across the month.

Only a handful of sessions recorded net outflows during that period. The largest single-day withdrawal reached $7.29 million on July 8, while most remaining sessions finished with positive or unchanged fund flows.

XRP funds outperform several competing crypto ETFs

Coinglass data also showed XRP investment products compared favorably with other cryptocurrency ETFs during the previous week. XRP-focused funds attracted approximately $15 million in net inflows, outperforming several competing digital asset products.

By comparison, Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows totaling about $0.6 million. Solana ETFs posted approximately $17 million in net withdrawals, while Ethereum ETFs generated modest net inflows of roughly $0.4 million.

The contrast suggested institutional investors maintained stronger demand for XRP-related products during the reporting period. Although Aug. 4 produced no new inflows, the absence of outflows and stable cumulative assets indicated investors largely remained committed to their positions.

Conclusion

The latest Coinglass data showed XRP ETFs paused their inflow streak without weakening overall investor participation. Cumulative inflows exceeding $1.5 billion, stable assets under management, and four consecutive trading sessions without outflows reflected sustained institutional interest in XRP investment products.
