CryptoQuant analyst Crypto Dan has identified signs that Bitcoin is approaching an upward market trend, citing improving supply profitability indicators. According to his latest analysis, Bitcoin’s market structure resembles historical recovery patterns, with profitable supply increasingly outpacing holdings at a loss, while the chart shows Bitcoin trading at $83,418.88 against a realized price of $53,823.88.

Bitcoin Supply Profitability Signals Potential Uptrend

According to Crypto Dan, Bitcoin’s supply in profit currently stands at 69.15%, while supply in loss accounts for 30.81%. This difference reflects improving holder profitability as the two indicators separate following their earlier convergence during the market correction.

Historically, similar convergence patterns appeared near major Bitcoin market bottoms, particularly during transitions from declining prices toward sustained recoveries. During the 2022–2023 downturn, both indicators approached the 50% threshold before diverging as Bitcoin began recovering.

The latest chart highlights comparable movements during 2026, when profitable and unprofitable supply approached similar levels before separating again. Consequently, the profit ratio has climbed toward 70%, while the loss ratio has declined toward 30%, strengthening the analyst’s positive outlook. Crypto Dan considers this widening gap evidence that Bitcoin has nearly completed its transition into an upward market trend.

Bitcoin Holds Above Realized Price During Market Correction

Another notable development involves Bitcoin’s realized price, which represents the average acquisition cost of coins based on their previous movements. Previous major downturns pushed Bitcoin below this indicator, reflecting widespread unrealized losses before the cryptocurrency entered subsequent recovery phases.

In contrast, the latest correction remained relatively shallow, with Bitcoin maintaining its position above the realized price throughout the downturn. Chart figures place realized price at $53,823.88, considerably below Bitcoin’s market value of $83,418.88, highlighting the difference between both indicators. Crypto Dan identified this distinction while maintaining that the broader profitability structure supports an emerging market recovery.

Conclusion

Bitcoin’s improving supply profitability and sustained position above realized price support Crypto Dan’s assessment of a potential trend reversal. The analyst’s findings highlight similarities with previous market recoveries despite differences in the depth of Bitcoin’s latest correction.
