Summary
- Binance will remove twelve cryptocurrencies from Alpha, while deposit restrictions affect MTP, BDXN, TALE, and nine other listed supported tokens.
- Holders retain access to withdrawal and selling services, giving them options to transfer assets or exit positions through Binance Alpha.
- Reduced Alpha exposure could weaken liquidity and visibility, while project teams may provide guidance about wallets and alternative cryptocurrency exchanges.
Binance will remove twelve cryptocurrencies from its Alpha platform during the final hours of September 4. The affected tokens include MTP, BDXN, TALE, BOS, MAIGA, TIMI, U, SERAPH, RVV, AIAV, PENGUIN, and SN3.
According to the announcement, Binance will initially stop accepting deposits involving every cryptocurrency included in the removal. However, holders can still sell or withdraw their assets once Binance removes the tokens from Alpha.
Consequently, users will retain access to their holdings because the update only restricts incoming deposits. Binance did not explain why it selected the twelve cryptocurrencies for removal from the platform. Exchanges regularly review supported assets by examining liquidity, trading activity, project development, security, and compliance standards.

Binance Provides Withdrawal and Selling Options for Affected Holders
Users who prefer moving their tokens can complete withdrawals through the Binance Alpha interface. They must open Assets, select Alpha, choose Withdraw, and identify the cryptocurrency they want to transfer.
Additionally, users should ensure their chosen wallet supports the token and its blockchain network. Using an unsupported wallet or network could delay transactions and make recovering transferred assets difficult.
Holders can also sell their cryptocurrencies directly through Binance Alpha rather than transferring them elsewhere. Users must select the affected token, choose the Instant option, and press Sell to complete the transaction. However, limited liquidity may influence selling prices for smaller cryptocurrencies with weaker trading demand.
Alpha Removal May Affect Token Visibility and Market Liquidity
Binance has not announced immediate closure of withdrawal or selling services for the removed cryptocurrencies. This arrangement gives holders flexibility when deciding to transfer or sell their assets.
Nevertheless, users should monitor notices because Binance may introduce changes involving these tokens. Removal could reduce visibility for projects that relied on Binance Alpha to reach more cryptocurrency traders.
Moreover, lower exposure may affect trading volumes, liquidity conditions, and investor interest surrounding removed assets. Affected project teams may provide guidance concerning supported wallets, alternative exchanges, or their broader plans. The update narrows Binance Alpha’s cryptocurrency selection while preserving essential exit options for holders of the twelve assets.
