Bitcoin Holds Steady at $105K as Ethereum Slips Slightly; XRP and Solana Register Gains

Bitcoin remained stable above the $105,000 mark on Monday, trading at $105,660 after gaining 0.1% over the past 24 hours. The leading cryptocurrency held firm despite broader market hesitation.

Daily trading volume surpassed $19 billion, while market capitalization reached $2.1 trillion, indicating sustained institutional interest.

Ethereum, however, came under slight selling pressure, dropping 0.9% over the last 24 hours and 0.1% across the past week. The asset currently trades at $2,490.50. Daily trading volume stood at $11.79 billion, while its market cap settled at $300.6 billion. The mild losses reflect investor caution as Ethereum failed to break key resistance zones.

XRP showed stronger momentum, advancing 0.9% in a day and posting a 2.9% weekly gain to reach $2.23. The asset recorded $2.45 billion in 24-hour volume, with a market capitalization of $131.4 billion.

This consistent growth has kept XRP among the top-performing large-cap coins this week. BNB remained flat with no movement in the past day, continuing to trade at $650.19. Despite the lack of price action, BNB maintained a market cap of $94.8 billion.

Trading activity was quieter compared to other major assets, totaling $422.9 million over the last 24 hours. Solana recorded modest gains, rising 0.2% within 24 hours and 3.2% over the past seven days.

The asset is now priced at $150.48. It saw solid activity, with a trading volume of $2.41 billion. Solana’s market cap currently stands at $78.9 billion, supported by positive sentiment among retail and institutional holders.

Altcoins Record Sharp Moves as Traders Shift Attention to Lower-Cap Assets

Beyond the leading tokens, several smaller cryptocurrencies experienced significant spikes. TAGGER (TAG) emerged as the biggest gainer of the day with a 116.6% rise, trading at $0.0003378. Volume exceeded $70 million, highlighting speculative interest.

Torus (TORUS) followed closely with a 72.4% increase, reaching $0.6102. The Innovation Game (TIG) climbed 47.4% to $1.50. Paycoin (PCI) also surged 47.2%, now priced at $0.09808.

These dramatic gains suggest renewed attention on lower-cap assets as traders pursue short-term opportunities amid limited action in top-tier cryptocurrencies.
