Bitcoin sees a dip below $30,000 – Because of the Shanghai Upgrade’s success, Ethereum (ETH), the second-most popular cryptocurrency behind Bitcoin (BTC), was able to surpass $2,000 for the first time since May of last year. Early on Friday morning, BTC was able to maintain stability inside the $30,000 range. Other well-known altcoins including Dogecoin (DOGE), Ripple (XRP), Solana (SOL), and Litecoin (LTC) all experienced significant increases. A 24-hour increase of more than 27% made Arbitrum (ARB) the top gainer.
At the time of writing, the market capitalization of all cryptocurrencies was $1.27 trillion, showing an increase of 0.19 percent over the previous day.
