Renowned cryptocurrency trader Peter L. Brandt has spotlighted a potential surge in Bitcoin’s price, projecting a possible climb toward the $150,000 mark by late summer. According to Brandt, who has nearly five decades of trading experience, Bitcoin’s chart structure now shows signs of regaining a parabolic arc—a pattern historically linked to aggressive bullish rallies.
Brandt shared his analysis via Twitter and outlined a scenario in which Bitcoin could rise to at least $125,000 and possibly stretch to $150,000. He explained that Bitcoin’s return to the parabolic slope depends on it re-establishing contact with the slope after breaking it recently. The expert trader previously employed this formation to project market trends accurately.
Brandt pointed out that this pattern happened twice before when Bitcoin experienced explosive price increases in 2017 and 2021. The cryptocurrency demonstrated extreme growth, after which it experienced severe market downturns in these two instances. Bitcoin climbed to $20,000 in 2017 and experienced a market crash, and in 2021, it rose to $69,000 until hitting another major plummet.

Surge May Lead to Sharp Correction, Warns Brandt
Although Brandt’s chart signals a bullish opportunity, he also included a cautionary note. He warned that any climb toward $150,000 may be met with a severe market correction if Bitcoin repeats past parabolic patterns. According to his historical analysis, a pullback of as much as 50 percent is likely to follow such an aggressive rise.
Bitcoin market demonstrated short-term growth by rising by 2.75 percent and hitting $96,700 briefly before stabilizing at $96,000. The price has maintained its position within the $96,000 zone. The market demonstrates increasing interest in White House Senior Adviser Kevin Hassett’s potential trade tariff announcements during this period.
While optimism grows around a $150,000 Bitcoin rally, Brandt’s warning of a sharp correction reminds us of the market’s volatility. The coming months will be key to confirming whether this bold prediction holds.
