The cryptocurrency market recorded widespread gains on October 28, with Bitcoin reclaiming $80,800 and several major altcoins posting increases. Ethereum, XRP, and Solana also advanced, while Zcash led the largest cryptocurrencies with a 7.5% daily gain.
According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin (BTC) gained 1.5% to $80,819.14, with its market capitalization reaching $1.62 trillion and daily trading volume standing at $23.44 billion. Ethereum (ETH) climbed 1.8% to $2,350.71, recording $9.59 billion in trading volume and a $287.19 billion market capitalization, while BNB (BNB) gained 1.1% to $744.07, with its market capitalization reaching $97.86 billion.

Major Coins Record Gains as Zcash Outperforms
XRP (XRP) increased 2.2% to $1.33, bringing its market capitalization to $83.99 billion and trading volume to $1.53 billion. Solana (SOL) also advanced 1.8% to $101.92, with daily trading volume reaching $1.98 billion.
Among the leading cryptocurrencies, Zcash (ZEC) delivered the strongest performance, climbing 7.5% to $1,306.52. The privacy cryptocurrency recorded $851.04 million in trading volume, while its market capitalization reached $22.23 billion.

Hyperliquid (HYPE) followed with a 4.9% increase to $81.30, supported by $734.09 million in daily trading volume. Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 2.8% to $0.07971, while TRON (TRX) rose 0.8% to $0.331. Monero (XMR) also recorded a 0.8% increase, trading at $613.71 with a market capitalization of $11.55 billion.
Top Gainers
Smaller cryptocurrencies registered stronger percentage gains, with HoodPork (PORKU) climbing 69.2% to $0.02564 on $500,538 trading volume. Capricorn (APR) advanced 46.2% to $0.0498, while Boner Coin (BONER) gained 45.3% to $0.02017. Super Inu (SI) increased 42.5% to $0.01485, followed by Anoma (XAN), which rose 42.2% to $0.01105.
Infinity Ground (AIN) climbed 34.3% to $0.154, recording $73.60 million in trading volume. Bitway (BTW) gained 32.4% to $1.80, while Artificial Inu (AI) advanced 30.2% to $0.06943. The gains extended across established cryptocurrencies and smaller tokens, with Zcash outperforming major assets and HoodPork leading the listed gainers.
