DAC is developing an Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible Layer-1 blockchain with quantum resistance incorporated into its architecture. Its technology combines Proof of Quantum Work, known as PoQW, with quantum entropy to support long-term cryptographic resilience.
Additionally, the network aims to provide predictable transaction costs for businesses developing applications within blockchain environments. EVM compatibility lets applications designed for Ethereum-compatible networks run on DAC’s proposed infrastructure.
Italy’s Quantum Infrastructure Expansion Draws Industry Attention
Italy’s quantum computing initiative also brought DAC representatives together with researchers, technology specialists, and industry participants. Their discussions addressed infrastructure development and the relationship between advanced computing technologies and blockchain security.
Meanwhile, the inauguration of Volta B1 highlights Europe’s investment in computing systems designed to support research and industrial applications. The forum provided DAC with an opportunity to outline its security approach alongside developments in quantum computing infrastructure.
As quantum capabilities advance, DAC’s development plans center on integrating cryptographic resilience into its EVM-compatible blockchain architecture. The project also maintains its emphasis on predictable transaction costs and infrastructure intended for business applications. DAC’s participation connects these objectives with broader industry efforts to examine future blockchain security requirements.
