Shiba Inu Exchange Deposits Cross 800 Million SHIB as Selling Risk Grows

Summary

  • Shiba Inu exchange inflows averaged 818.3 million SHIB, while positive net flows increased readily tradable supply across centralized trading platforms.
  • Large holders dominated deposit activity, with the ten biggest inflows moving 5.67 billion SHIB against 1.95 billion SHIB withdrawn.
  • SHIB held above short-term support, but resistance between $0.00000560 and $0.00000570 remains a major obstacle for buyers seeking stronger momentum.

Shiba Inu has recorded another increase in exchange deposits as the token struggles to secure a convincing bullish breakout. Average exchange inflows reached approximately 818.3 million SHIB, representing a 0.97% increase from the previous period.

The latest figure indicates that typical transactions entering exchanges have approached 835 million SHIB. Consequently, more tokens are becoming available for trading across exchange platforms.

Broader flow figures reveal cautious positioning and exchange inflows totaled 287.59 billion SHIB, while withdrawals reached only 174.88 billion tokens. That imbalance produced a positive netflow of 112.71 billion SHIB. Positive netflows indicate that deposits have exceeded withdrawals.

Such movements do not confirm immediate selling because holders transfer assets for various reasons. However, rising exchange balances can increase available supply and create pressure around important resistance levels.

Large Holders Dominate Shiba Inu Exchange Deposits

Large holders contributed to the deposit activity, with the ten biggest exchange inflow transactions transferring 5.67 billion SHIB. Meanwhile, the ten largest withdrawal transactions moved only 1.95 billion SHIB. Therefore, major deposits exceeded withdrawals by approximately 3.72 billion tokens.

Despite the increase, the seven-day moving average for mean exchange inflows declined by 36.54%. This reduction suggests that deposit activity remains weaker than levels recorded during previous inflow surges.

Hence, the movement may represent a temporary revival rather than an established trend toward sustained exchange deposits. Traders may require additional data before treating the increase as prolonged distribution.

SHIB traded around $0.00000537 while remaining above shorter-term moving averages between $0.00000500 and $0.00000520. Holding this range provides technical support despite the increased supply entering exchanges.

Nevertheless, buyers have repeatedly struggled to establish momentum beyond $0.00000550. Additionally, the declining longer-term moving average between $0.00000560 and $0.00000570 presents a stronger obstacle.

A decisive move through that region could improve SHIB’s broader technical structure. Beyond it, resistance between $0.00000590 and $0.00000620 would become the next challenge.

Shiba Inu therefore faces competing on-chain and technical signals as buyers defend nearby support. Its ability to absorb exchange deposits will shape momentum around $0.00000550.
