The new Shibarium Explorer, shibariumscan experiences downtime as the website is temporarily down. Shibarium.io is a new website that shows the details of the newly launched Shibarium Layer 2 blockchain solution. Information such as total blocks, average block time, total transactions, wallet addresses, and more are displayed on the website.
When accessing the website shibariumscan.io and adding the “https://” parameters (https://shibariumscan.io), one sees a blank screen that shows “default backend – 404” at the top left corner.
However, it is important to note that when the URL is entered and “www” is added (https://www.shibariumscan.io), the website opens perfectly and all block details are displayed accordingly.
This type of technical error occurs when there are no proper redirects on a website, in this case, a non-www URL failing to redirect to a www URL. When there is an overload on a non-www domain server, the traffic cannot be redirected to another server because of the absence of a CNAME record. Consequently, visitors will have a hard time accessing the website.
Shibarium experienced an exponential increase in activities on the network since its relaunch. The total count of transactions on Shibarium and total blocks exceeded 700,000 (700 thousand) and 400,000 (400 thousand) respectively. At press time, the daily transactions on Shibarium sit at 73,640 (73.64 thousand).

A total of 410 trillion SHIB tokens have been successfully transferred to burn addresses over time.
Shibarium was initially launched on August 15-16 during the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, Canada. Following the launch, the network faced utility pressure which forced it into private mode.
Nevertheless, the team behind the project worked on it and subsequently relaunched the scaling solution on August 28. Shibarium has been experiencing impressive growth since its relaunch which hopefully will impact the price of SHIB in the future.
