Dogecoin, BNB, and XRP Prices Crash as Bitcoin Holds Steady Above $104K

Bitcoin (BTC) held steady above the $104,000 mark on Friday as sharp declines hit several major altcoins. The leading cryptocurrency rose 0.2 percent in the past hour, remained unchanged in 24 hours, and recorded a 0.5 percent gain for the week. With over $17 billion in daily trading volume, Bitcoin’s market capitalization stood above $2 trillion.

Ethereum (ETH) followed a similar path, trading flat at $2,520.71 with no daily change and a weekly gain of 0.3 percent. The asset saw over $10 billion in volume as market activity remained steady.

The Binance utility token BNB lost 0.6 percent in a week but managed to hold its ground in the last 24 hours. It was transacted at the price of $644.94 and a volume of around $500 million, reflecting the low volume of transactions in the market.

Dogecoin (DOGE) experienced a larger decline, dropping by 1.2 percent during the past 24 hours and 2.7 percent during the past seven days. The MBT token was priced at $0.1682, and its market cap was slightly more than $25 billion, with a volume of almost $645 million.

Selling pressure was also exerted on XRP as it decreased by 0.4 percent to $2.15 per coin in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, it has managed to grow by 1.5 percent in the last seven days with its daily trading of $1.39 billion.

TRON closed at 0.2736, down 0.3 percent over the past 24 hours and 0.6 percent weekly. This indicated slight bearishness in a low-volume trading day.

Altcoin Traders Shift to Small-Cap Tokens Amid Market Dips

Solana (SOL) was among the few major coins to show gains, trading at $145.41 after rising 0.1 percent in 24 hours and 1 percent across the week. Its nearly $3 billion in trading volume reflects strong investor interest.

Meanwhile, lesser tokens have reported parabolic rises with Poollotto.finance (PLT) emerging as the biggest gainer of the day, trading 129.6 percent higher to $3.00 on a relatively low volume of $59,774.

Namada (NAM) rocketed by 38.1 percent to $0.04427. It was followed by Orbiter Finance (OBT), which advanced 27.1 percent to $0.008595. They had a volume of 13.6 million dollars and 33.9 million dollars, respectively.

Neon (NEON) and BabyBoomToken (BBT) also enjoyed a speculative rush, with gains of 25.4 percent to $0.1196 and 31.9 percent to $0.7458, respectively.

While Bitcoin remained stable on Friday, altcoins like Dogecoin, BNB, and XRP recorded sharp drops. Traders turned to fast-moving small-cap tokens, shifting focus away from top-tier coins amid cautious market sentiment.
