Shiba Inu Holders Increase – Recently, the number of investors holding Shiba Inu has started to grow despite an over 63% loss in price. The Dogecoin-inspired meme coin is on its way to 1.3 million active holders. Live data from CoinMarketCap shows that Shiba Inu now has a total number of 1.28 million holders.
This number represents a growing interest in the coin regardless of its price slump. As of the last days of March, the number of Shiba Inu holders was at 1,330,473 (approx 1.33 million).
However, by April 1, the total number of holders had dropped to 1,279,122 (approx. 1.28 million), about 51,351 less from March 27. Less than 2 weeks later, the number of Shiba Inu holders has begun to increase as data from the crypto live chart website CoinMarketCap shows it has grown to 1,286,282 holders.

Shiba Inu’s Top 10 Addresses Hold over 61.35% of the Total Supply
The top 10 addresses of the total Shiba Inu holders are reported to hold over 61.35% of the total market supply. Further observation also shows that over 80.98% of the total Shiba Inu supply is held by the top 100 wallet addresses.
Worlds largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, and OKX exchange are currently among the top 10 holders. Binance currently holds more than 77 trillion Shiba Inu tokens. Meanwhile, about 401 trillion Shiba Inu tokens are held in its burn address. Over the last 24 hours, only 14,645 addresses were active despite having over 1.28 million current holders.
Shiba Inu 63% Price Loss
After it was launched in August 2020, the price grew exponentially to a high of $0.000088. However, the growth was short-lived after several economic issues made the price of Shiba Inu and other cryptocurrencies drop.
Compared to its all-time high and checking from its current price, Shiba Inu is down by 87.61%. Data from IntoTheBlock shows that only 30.81% of the 1.28 million total holders are in profit. 63.59% are recording losses, and 6% of these addresses are neither in profit nor loss.
