Exchange net flows, trading volumes, and price movements remain essential indicators for determining whether increased whale deposits create selling pressure.
Large XRP holders have increased transfers to Binance, pushing cumulative whale inflows to a seven-month high of 1.669 billion XRP over 30 days, surpassing September’s previous peak of approximately 1.65 billion XRP.
According to CryptoQuant analyst Arab Chain, the increase reflects renewed activity among major XRP holders, raising concerns about potential selling pressure as more tokens enter Binance. Whale inflows measure cryptocurrency transfers from large wallets to centralized exchanges, with rising deposits potentially increasing trading liquidity and available supply.
XRP Whale Transfers Surpass September Peak as Exchange Activity Increases
Arab Chain’s analysis shows that XRP whale inflows reached approximately 1.65 billion tokens in September before declining. The metric subsequently recovered to 1.669 billion XRP, exceeding its previous level by approximately 19 million tokens.
This recovery indicates increased transfer activity among large holders following fluctuations recorded during recent months. Significantly, the figure represents cumulative inflows across 30 days rather than deposits from one trading session.

Large cryptocurrency holders commonly transfer assets to exchanges for trading, portfolio adjustments, or other financial activities. Consequently, increased deposits can expand the amount of XRP available for potential market transactions.
Still, these movements do not establish whether whales intend to sell their holdings. Some transfers may involve internal wallet adjustments or other services available through Binance.
Exchange Net Flows and Trading Volume Remain Important Indicators
Exchange net flows provide additional information about whether deposited XRP remains on Binance or moves into external wallets. Sustained positive net flows could indicate growing exchange balances and potentially greater selling capacity.
Additionally, trading volume helps determine whether increased deposits correspond with actual selling activity. Rising sell-side volume alongside substantial inflows would provide stronger evidence of distribution.
Price movements offer another measure of how whale activity affects XRP’s broader market performance. Without supporting trading data, exchange deposits alone cannot confirm an upcoming price decline.
The latest seven-month high establishes increased whale activity on Binance without confirming widespread selling. Further exchange flow and trading data will determine whether these transfers produce measurable market pressure.
