Japanese Crypto Exchange Rakuten Wallet Announces SHIB Coin Giveaway for November Event

Japanese Crypto Exchange Rakuten Wallet Announces SHIB Coin Giveaway for November Event

Summary

  • Rakuten Wallet will distribute physical SHIB coins to eligible holders attending its November 3 investment seminar in Japan this year.
  • Participants must display their SHIB holdings through the Rakuten Wallet application to receive commemorative metal coins without additional eligibility requirements.
  • Shiba Inu declined 3.78% amid broader cryptocurrency selling pressure, while inflation concerns contributed to market uncertainty and significant liquidations.

Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Rakuten Wallet has announced another Shiba Inu (SHIB) giveaway, offering physical commemorative coins to eligible holders attending its November investment seminar.

According to Rakuten Wallet’s recent X announcement, the giveaway will take place on November 3 during a seminar hosted by Rakuten Securities. Participants must present proof of their SHIB holdings through the Rakuten Wallet application to receive the commemorative coins.

The initiative follows several similar giveaways organized by the Japanese exchange, which added Shiba Inu to its supported cryptocurrencies in April 2026. Rakuten Wallet has used these events to engage existing holders while promoting its cryptocurrency services across Japan.

Rakuten Wallet Sets November 3 Giveaway Requirements for SHIB Holders

Rakuten Wallet confirmed that Senior Analyst Matsuda will participate in the upcoming Rakuten Securities investment seminar. Matsuda previously appeared at a similar event in October, marking another engagement with the company’s investment community.

The November 3 seminar coincides with a public holiday in Japan, where Rakuten Wallet will operate a dedicated promotional booth. Visitors holding SHIB through the exchange can approach staff members and present their account information.

To qualify, participants must display a screen confirming their SHIB holdings within the Rakuten Wallet application. The exchange confirmed that everyone meeting this requirement will receive a physical SHIB coin without exceptions.

Notably, Rakuten Wallet introduced its commemorative Shiba Inu coin in July 2026, using a specialized sandblasting manufacturing process. The technique gives the metal souvenir a distinctive blast finish, separating its physical design from ordinary promotional tokens.

Unlike digital SHIB tokens, these commemorative coins have no blockchain functionality and cannot facilitate cryptocurrency transactions. Their purpose is strictly promotional, allowing eligible holders to receive a physical collectible representing the Shiba Inu cryptocurrency.

Earlier distribution events took place in Fukuoka, while Rakuten Wallet also announced similar activities for Sapporo and Osaka during October. The November event extends that promotional program through another investment seminar organized within the Rakuten financial group.

SHIB Price Declines as Broader Crypto Market Faces Selling Pressure

The giveaway announcement coincides with a difficult trading period for Shiba Inu, which has recorded several consecutive daily declines. SHIB traded near $0.00000494, representing a 3.78% decline over the preceding 24 hours.

Selling pressure pushed the token toward an intraday low of $0.000004811, extending its downward movement from October 12. Meanwhile, broader cryptocurrency liquidations reached approximately $972.26 million over 24 hours.

U.S. inflation figures also added pressure across financial markets, with September consumer prices increasing 3.7% annually. This exceeded August’s 3.4% reading and renewed concerns about potential Federal Reserve interest rate increases.

Core inflation climbed to 2.6% from 2.4%, adding to uncertainty surrounding monetary policy and risk assets. These market developments occurred independently of Rakuten Wallet’s promotional announcement.

November Seminar Extends Rakuten Wallet’s SHIB Promotional Activities

Rakuten Wallet’s November 3 event represents another opportunity for eligible SHIB holders to collect the exchange’s commemorative metal coins. The announced participation requirement centers on verified holdings within its application rather than a specified minimum SHIB balance.

The giveaway also builds on Rakuten Wallet’s earlier distribution events and its April decision to support Shiba Inu trading. By organizing another giveaway through a Rakuten Securities seminar, the exchange is extending its existing promotional program to participating SHIB holders.
