Bitcoin (BTC) Slips Below $65,000 as Crypto Market Weakens, While BANK Leads Top Gainers

Bitcoin (BTC) traded lower over the past 24 hours, reflecting another cautious session across the cryptocurrency market. Most major digital assets also recorded losses as selling pressure weighed on prices despite steady trading activity.


BTC changed hands at $64,048.57, down 1.3% during the period, while recording $19.97 billion in trading volume and maintaining a market capitalization of $1.28 trillion. Although the decline remained limited, the move kept Bitcoin below the $65,000 level, reinforcing the cautious mood across the market.


Meanwhile, Ethereum (ETH) also posted a modest decline. ETH traded at $1,856.10, slipping 1.1% over the last 24 hours. The asset generated $8.41 billion in trading volume and retained a market capitalization of $224.05 billion.


Besides Bitcoin and Ethereum, several other leading cryptocurrencies moved lower. BNB (BNB) traded at $565.19, declining 0.8% with $458.42 million in daily trading volume. Its market capitalization stood at $75.27 billion.


XRP (XRP) also remained under pressure. The token exchanged hands at $1.09, representing a 1.1% decline over the same period. XRP recorded $783.89 million in trading volume while maintaining a market capitalization of $67.91 billion.


Similarly, Solana (SOL) traded at $75.85, down 0.5% over the past day. The cryptocurrency registered $1.49 billion in trading volume, with its market capitalization reaching $44.19 billion.


Dogecoin (DOGE) posted the largest decline among the major cryptocurrencies listed. DOGE traded at $0.07164, falling 1.4% after recording $348.59 million in trading volume. Its market capitalization stood at $11.12 billion.


However, TRON (TRX) stood out from the broader trend. TRX gained 0.3% to trade at $0.3261. The token recorded $311.01 million in trading volume while reaching a market capitalization of $30.94 billion.

Lorenzo Protocol (BANK) Surges as Select Altcoins Defy Market Trend

While major cryptocurrencies struggled, several smaller-cap assets posted notable gains during the session. Lorenzo Protocol (BANK) led the market after soaring 110.5%. The token traded at $0.2391 while generating $374.43 million in trading volume, making it the strongest performer among the leading gainers.


Additionally, Credible Finance (CRED) climbed 46.7% to $0.8698, supported by $3.66 million in daily trading volume. Unicorn (UWU) advanced 34.6% to $0.03079, while Cash Cat (CASHCAT) gained 26.5% to trade at $0.06944.


Elsewhere, BUILDon (B) rose 24.6% to $0.2269, as Prom (PROM) increased 24.3% to $1.69. OriginTrail (TRAC) also joined the list of strong performers. The token climbed 21.7% to $0.3181, supported by $46.01 million in trading volume. Pump.fun (PUMP) completed the top gainers after advancing 20.2% to $0.001983 while recording $135.77 million in trading volume.


Overall, the cryptocurrency market remained under pressure as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP (XRP), BNB (BNB), Solana (SOL), and Dogecoin (DOGE) posted daily losses. Nevertheless, strong rallies from Lorenzo Protocol (BANK) and several mid-cap tokens showed that selective buying interest persisted despite the broader market weakness.
