In Brief:
- Shiba Inu exchange netflow increased by 1.2 billion SHIB, but massive exchange reserves limit its potential impact on market structure.
- Network activity improved modestly as active addresses, transactions, and average transfers increased, although buying demand remains insufficient for stronger momentum.
- SHIB trades near $0.00000450, while recovering $0.0000049 and challenging $0.0000058 requires stronger spot demand and sustained buying pressure.
Shiba Inu has recorded a 1.2 billion SHIB increase in exchange netflow while its price recovery remains under pressure. Exchange netflow stands near 62.15 billion SHIB, representing a 1.27% change over the measured 24-hour period.
However, the movement remains relatively small compared with SHIB already held across cryptocurrency exchanges. Consequently, it has not created a meaningful supply imbalance capable of strengthening the token’s broader market structure.

Exchange Reserves Limit Impact of SHIB Netflow Increase
Shiba Inu’s enormous supply significantly reduces the importance of the latest 1.2 billion SHIB exchange movement. Total supply stands near 999.98 trillion tokens, placing billion-token transfers within a considerably larger ecosystem.
Additionally, exchanges hold approximately 87.33 trillion SHIB, representing a substantial pool already available for trading. Exchange reserves also increased around 0.07% over 24 hours.
Meanwhile, the seven-day moving average of mean exchange inflows climbed approximately 4.16%. Higher inflows can increase potential selling liquidity because more tokens become available on trading platforms.
Nevertheless, exchange transfers do not automatically indicate selling intentions among holders. Hence, the increase shows greater activity without confirming a major change in SHIB’s supply dynamics.
Network Activity Improves While SHIB Price Remains Weak
Shiba Inu also registered modest improvements across several network indicators, although demand remains relatively subdued. Active sending addresses increased roughly 1%, while total transactions rose approximately 1.1%.
Moreover, the average number of transfers climbed about 1.12%, indicating slightly stronger network participation.
SHIB trades around $0.00000450 and remains near its shorter-term moving averages. However, its 200-day moving average sits considerably higher at approximately $0.00000581.
Additionally, the Relative Strength Index remains around 46, keeping momentum within neutral-to-bearish territory. Therefore, improving network activity has not produced enough buying pressure to strengthen SHIB’s recovery.
Stronger Spot Demand Remains Key for SHIB Recovery
Sustained spot buying remains important for improving SHIB’s broader price structure. Recovering to $0.0000049 would provide an important technical test before buyers could target higher resistance.

Beyond that level, the $0.0000058 region represents another significant hurdle near the longer-term moving average. Stronger demand must accompany improving network activity for SHIB to challenge these levels. For now, the 1.2 billion SHIB movement remains an activity signal rather than evidence of a decisive market shift.
Shiba Inu’s exchange netflow increase highlights greater token movement without significantly changing its market structure. Stronger spot demand remains necessary for a convincing price recovery.
