US spot XRP exchange-traded funds now hold 1.129 billion XRP in verified institutional vaults, representing 1.1293% of the token’s total supply. According to data from XRP Insights, seven tracked funds collectively manage approximately $1.581 billion in assets, reflecting demand for regulated XRP investment products.
Weekly Inflows Expand XRP Held in Institutional Vaults
Week 38 generated net inflows of 7.02 million XRP, valued at approximately $9.05 million according to the reviewed data. Consequently, ETF providers acquired additional tokens for their vaults, increasing the XRP reserves used to support fund shares.
This weekly addition represented roughly 0.62% of the 1.129 billion XRP held across the seven tracked products. Although the holdings are locked, custodians may release tokens whenever investor redemptions require issuers to reduce reserves.
Therefore, the figure represents XRP secured for ETF shareholders rather than tokens permanently removed from the cryptocurrency’s circulating supply. At XRP’s current price of $1.29, the reserves carried a market value of nearly $1.46 billion.
Moreover, the asset gained 0.58% over 24 hours, adding one cent while vault balances remained above one billion tokens. Fund creations exceeded redemptions, requiring providers to increase the XRP backing their investment products.
