EarnOS Raises $18.5 Million as Verified Rewards Platform Expands Globally

  • EarnOS secured $18.5 million while expanding ero across four markets.
  • zkTLS technology verifies user activity without exposing sensitive personal data.
  • Former Uber executive Harrison Kennedy joins expansion efforts and growth.

EarnOS has secured $18.5 million in financing as it expands its consumer rewards platform into several major international markets. According to a statement shared with Crypto Briefing, the company has officially launched its ero application in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.

The funding package includes a $6 million Pre-Series A round led by 1kx. Coinbase Ventures, Circle Ventures, and Social Graph Ventures also participated. Additionally, Verona provided a $12.5 million non-dilutive strategic investment to support the company’s growth plans.

The launch comes as brands continue to face growing challenges from bots, fake traffic, and AI-generated engagement. Consequently, companies are searching for more reliable ways to measure genuine consumer activity online.

Phil George, Chief Executive Officer of EarnOS, said the platform was created to help brands verify authentic interactions while rewarding users for their online activity. He noted that advertisers lose billions of dollars annually to fraudulent engagement and automated traffic.

Rather than relying on traditional advertising metrics, ero rewards users when brands verify completed online actions. At the same time, businesses pay only for confirmed outcomes instead of broad engagement campaigns.

EarnOS Builds Around Privacy-Focused Verification Technology

A key part of the platform is its use of zkTLS technology. The system verifies user activity without exposing sensitive personal information. As a result, EarnOS aims to balance privacy protection with reliable verification. The company said its model addresses concerns surrounding online authenticity. These concerns have intensified as AI-generated content becomes increasingly common across digital platforms.

According to Peter Pan, Partner at 1kx, verifying identity and online actions without sacrificing privacy is becoming an important requirement for internet infrastructure. He added that the investment will help EarnOS scale its operations and expand internationally. Moreover, EarnOS reported more than $30 million in annualized reward commitments from consumer brands at launch. This level of participation signals growing interest in alternative engagement models that prioritize verified interactions.

Leadership Team Strengthens Expansion Efforts

To support its next phase of growth, EarnOS appointed former Uber executive Harrison Kennedy as Head of Growth Strategy and Expansion. The company said Kennedy will help accelerate adoption across existing and future markets.

Besides expanding its leadership team, EarnOS continues to build partnerships that support the platform’s infrastructure. The company highlighted collaborations with Verona, Turnkey, and Rain, which provide verification, wallet, and payment services.

Industry participants have also welcomed the concept. According to comments included in the announcement, Nike Innovation Labs Senior Content and Engagement Manager John Shiel said brands are increasingly seeking transparent and participatory ways to engage consumers online. EarnOS plans to enter additional international markets later this year as it expands its rewards ecosystem.

The latest financing provides EarnOS with additional resources to grow its verification-based rewards platform. As concerns around online authenticity continue to increase, the company is positioning ero as a tool that connects verified user activity with brand spending while maintaining user privacy.
