Shiba Inu Exchange Reserves Hit 87.16 Trillion SHIB as Selling Pressure Builds

Shiba Inu Exchange Reserves Hit 87.16 Trillion SHIB as Selling Pressure Builds

What to Know

  • Shiba Inu exchange reserves reached 87.16 trillion tokens, raising potential selling pressure as increased balances indicate greater trading availability.
  • SHIB exchange inflows reached 344.17 billion tokens, exceeding withdrawals of 268.47 billion, while reported netflows reflected increased exchange deposits.
  • SHIB faces resistance near $0.00000535 and $0.00000560, while weak momentum leaves support at $0.00000500 and $0.00000480 vulnerable to selling pressure.

Shiba Inu (SHIB) exchange reserves have climbed to 87.16 trillion tokens, raising concerns about potential selling pressure as the cryptocurrency struggles to recover from its October lows amid weak buying momentum.

Exchange data shows reserves increased 0.08% within 24 hours, while the seven-day chart recorded a notable rebound, indicating greater token availability for trading despite deposits not necessarily translating into immediate selling.

SHIB Exchange Inflows Exceed Outflows as Reserves Approach $450 Million

Recent exchange activity reveals a growing difference between SHIB deposits and withdrawals, reflecting increased token movement toward centralized trading platforms. Total exchange inflows reached 344.17 billion SHIB, representing a 2.36% increase during the reporting period. Meanwhile, outflows totaled 268.47 billion SHIB, marking a smaller increase of 1.78%.

Reported net flows stood near 72.56 billion SHIB, indicating positive exchange deposits despite differences between the reported aggregate figures. Additionally, average inflows per transaction increased significantly, suggesting larger transfers contributed to the rising exchange balances.

Exchange reserves carried an estimated value of $449.76 million, reflecting a 4.12% increase within 24 hours. Price appreciation contributed to the dollar increase, while token balances also recorded modest growth.

Shiba Inu Faces Resistance Near $0.00000535 as Technical Indicators Remain Weak

SHIB traded around $0.00000516, following a decline from approximately $0.00000620 in September to $0.00000480 in October. TradingView chart data places the 50-day and 100-day exponential moving averages between $0.00000525 and $0.00000535. Both indicators remain above the prevailing price, establishing immediate resistance against potential recovery attempts.

Meanwhile, the 200-day EMA stands near $0.00000560, representing another significant resistance level within the broader bearish structure.

The Relative Strength Index remains near 45, indicating relatively weak momentum despite signs of a modest recovery. Trading volume also remains subdued, limiting confirmation of sustained buying interest.

A daily close above $0.00000535 would place SHIB above its shorter-term moving averages. Further gains could bring the $0.00000560 resistance level into consideration. Conversely, declining below $0.00000500 would expose the October low near $0.00000480. Additional selling could bring $0.00000450 into view if buyers fail to defend existing support.

Conclusion

Shiba Inu’s rising exchange reserves coincide with positive net flows and weak technical momentum, creating conditions that warrant monitoring. Price movements around $0.00000500 and $0.00000535 remain important indicators of SHIB’s next potential direction.
