Strive increased its Bitcoin holdings by 4,045 BTC during the week ending October 16, strengthening its corporate treasury position. According to an SEC filing released Monday, Strive acquired 1,223 BTC between October 14 and 16, bringing its total holdings to 36,818 BTC.
The expansion strengthens Strive’s position among major corporate Bitcoin holders and supports CEO Matt Cole’s ambition of reaching second place by year-end. Earlier in the week, Strive purchased 2,822 BTC for approximately $235 million, bringing its total weekly acquisitions to 4,045 BTC.
According to Bitcoin Treasuries data, Strategy leads with 848,517 BTC, followed by Metaplanet’s 44,000 BTC and Twenty One’s 43,514 BTC. Strive ranks fourth with 36,818 BTC, ahead of MARA’s 35,577 BTC.
Strive needs another 7,183 BTC to surpass Metaplanet’s current holdings, assuming the Japanese company makes no additional purchases. Acquiring approximately 700 BTC weekly could support that target, although further purchases by competing companies could change the rankings.

These financial developments accompanied Strive’s Bitcoin acquisitions as the company expanded its treasury and adjusted its capital structure.
