The XRP Institutional Takeover They Don’t Want You To See – Pundit Explains

  • Institutions are reportedly embedding deeply into the XRP Ledger infrastructure, unnoticed by many.
  • Tokenized assets on XRPL surged over 2,000 percent since January.
  • Major firms like BNY Mellon now custody Ripple’s RLUSD reserves.

A crypto commentator has sounded the alarm over what he describes as a quiet institutional takeover of the XRP ecosystem. According to Pumpius (@pumpius), large financial institutions are moving behind the scenes to dominate XRP infrastructure, while retail investors remain focused on short-term price movements.

Pumpius noted that BNY Mellon is now in custody of Ripple’s RLUSD reserves. He also indicated that ProShares has already issued Ultra XRP ETFs on NYSE Arca, indicating that traditional finance is no longer watching on the sidelines but is now directly integrating with the XRP Ledger.

It has been estimated that tokenized real-world assets on XRPL have increased by 2,260 percent since January, rising to over $118 million from only $5 million, fueled by real estate, treasuries, and commodities.

According to Pumpius, this growth is coming unnoticed and may signal a change in the manner in which value circulates in the global markets.

Also, XRP made a breakthrough during Crypto Week, reaching a resistance position of between $3.40 and $3.64. According to the pundit, insider accumulation and increasing regulatory clarity drove this.

He indicated that whales are coming off-exchange and buying huge quantities of XRP, and their activities are not in the public’s limelight.

Institutions Quietly Tighten Control Over XRP Infrastructure

Meanwhile, Pumpius emphasized that these developments suggest that financial giants are not just supporting XRP from the sidelines—they are embedding themselves deeply into its framework.

With participants as large as BNY Mellon and ProShares, the XRP Ledger is starting to be used as settlement infrastructure in earnest.

Due to the increasing influence of XRP in asset custody and tokenized settlements by financial institutions, average investors may suffer the effects of being pushed out of the previously decentralized environment.

The increase in the utilization of RLUSD and tokenized assets signals a new type of financial order emerging from the ground.

In this little-known but developing situation, institutional adoption of XRP is gaining pace. As Pumpius points out, this quiet growth is an indication of a long-term plan by financial institutions to maintain control of the digital liquidity rails. Still, the rest of the market is not aware of the scope of the change happening.
