Stellar (XLM) Chases XRP Rally as 22% Surge Opens Door to Major $0.30 Breakout

Stellar (XLM) Chases XRP Rally as 22% Surge Opens Door to Major $0.30 Breakout

Summary

  • XLM gained 22.33% this week, strengthening its pursuit of XRP while bringing the $0.30 breakout target into technical consideration range.
  • Stellar has surpassed $3 billion in tokenized real-world assets, while Protocol 28 could raise network throughput by 65% to 3,351 TPS.
  • XLM must break the $0.217 to $0.230 resistance zone to target $0.26 and potentially extend its rally toward $0.30 next.

Stellar’s XLM gained 22.33% this week, strengthening its attempt to catch XRP and opening a potential route toward $0.30. The token closed around $0.19111 as buyers pushed it toward an important resistance region.

According to TradingView data, XRP gained 40.94% and settled near $1.3988, remaining the stronger performer while XLM retains more room before reaching similar weekly overbought conditions.

XLM recovered from approximately $0.15232 and moved toward resistance between $0.191 and $0.195. Consequently, stronger buying above this region could support Stellar’s pursuit of XRP and bring higher targets into consideration.

Stellar’s RWA Expansion Adds Support Behind XLM Rally

Beyond market performance, Stellar has strengthened its position within the real-world asset tokenization sector. Real-world assets represented across the network have surpassed $3 billion, adding fundamental support to Stellar’s broader growth story.

Around $490 million involves non-U.S. sovereign debt issued through partnerships involving Franklin Templeton and Ondo. Additionally, Stellar has secured an integration involving the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation.

This planned connection could bring Russell 1000 securities and exchange-traded funds onto Stellar during the first half of 2027. DTCC oversees approximately $114 trillion in assets, making the integration particularly relevant to Stellar’s institutional strategy.

Moreover, Stellar recorded 2,968 monthly active developers as its ecosystem prepares for Protocol 28. The upgrade could increase network throughput by 65%, potentially lifting capacity toward 3,351 transactions per second.

XRP also has fundamental catalysts supporting its stronger market performance as Ripple expands its institutional infrastructure. Ripple Prime raised $275 million through institutional bonds, while XRPL validators prepare amendments supporting native lending pools.

XLM Needs $0.230 Breakout to Unlock $0.30 Target

XLM’s potential path toward $0.30 depends heavily on breaking resistance between approximately $0.217 and $0.230. A weekly close above that region could strengthen the breakout structure and expose the $0.26 target.

Additional buying above $0.26 could then bring $0.30 into the next important technical range. Hence, the $0.230 barrier remains crucial for XLM’s attempt to narrow XRP’s performance advantage.

However, rejection around $0.195 could weaken momentum and return XLM toward its previous consolidation range. Support around $0.177 could become important, followed by the deeper $0.152 level.

Conclusion

XLM’s 22.33% weekly gain has strengthened its pursuit of XRP while bringing $0.30 into technical consideration. Stellar must clear the $0.217 to $0.230 resistance zone before a larger breakout becomes more credible.
