Last updated on November 19th, 2023 at 11:16 am

A new BTC-based blockchain game platform is taking Bitcoin to exciting new heights beyond just trading and investing. This platform creates fun games on the BTC blockchain, where players can win real payouts and much more! New Bitcoin City, is the latest sensation that offers a variety of casual, board, and strategy games accessible on both web and mobile devices.

The best part? All these games operate on BTC, making it a unique and thrilling experience for Bitcoin enthusiasts. On top of that, the platform includes NFT auctions and a user-friendly marketplace.

Before, DeFi applications for BTC were only available as tokenized versions on different blockchains like Ethereum (ETH) or Solana (SOL).

But now, with the introduction of “Bitcoin Request for Comment” (BRC-20) standards, developers can create tokens and build DeFi apps directly on the BTC network. As a result, there’s been a fast growth in digital art and meme coins being developed on the BTC mainnet.

Can the Bitcoin BTC-Based Blockchain Game Achieve Success

While blockchain-based gaming has become popular in recent years, a game powered by BTC might face some challenges. One of these challenges could be slower transaction speeds on the BTC blockchain. Nevertheless, the team behind the game has come up with a solution to address this problem.

To make Bitcoin transactions faster, the team developed NOS, which is a layer 2 network built on top of the Bitcoin network using an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This allows for smart contract functionality similar to Ethereum.

Blockchain-based gaming has brought a fresh perspective to the gaming world. According to the developers, using blockchains ensures fair games and winnings, unlike traditional online games that often have hidden mechanisms preventing big earnings.

WhiteBIT Launches Mainnet

Meanwhile, WhiteBIT, one of the largest crypto exchanges in Europe recently presented exciting news to its community. In an August 3 blog post, the exchange revealed that it has launched its anticipated mainnet.

The news about the WhiteBIT blockchain spread quickly among the Web3 community, and as a result, the WBT token has now officially become the native coin of the platform.

In addition, WhiteBIT announced via a tweet that the token will now be referred to as WhiteBIT Coin and will still support the ERC-20 and TRC-20 standards.

Ecosystem development plays a very big role in Web3. WhiteBIT has made great strides to get here. People have been eagerly waiting for the blockchain to launch, and here it is.
